Coronavirus LIVE: Delhi sees over 10,000 fresh cases in just six days
India on Sunday recorded close to 12,000 new coronavirus cases taking the tally to 324,482 according to Worldometer. The death toll from the Covid-19 infection reached 9,247 as India remains in an upward trend.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called a meeting of all political parties of Delhi on Monday to discuss the Covid-19 situation in the national capital amid a recent spurt in coronavirus cases. BJP, Congress, AAP and BSP have been invited for the meeting.
Amit Shah on Sunday announced a series of measures to tackle the disease in the national capital including increasing testing three times in six days, providing 500 converted rail coaches to add 8,000 beds and steps for the availability of 60 per cent coronavirus beds in private hospitals at lower rates.
